Hospital Unit for Raptors

The hospital unit for animals. detailed research went into the kind of built environment these animals would require for healthy upbringing, breeding and living. All masonry blocks for the NGO have been bought from run down buildings to make the center an environment friendly one, in its truest sense. no plastics or synthetic construction materials have been used for the design.

Site Plan .

Built blocks have been sparsely placed, as a response to the inherent need of raptors to figuratively have a space of their own. Raptors of different breeds or even the same breed cannot have visual or audible proximity, lest they are easily agitated. On the other hand, minimum interventions have been made in terms of shaping the naturally contoured land - to preserve the existing wildlife habitat in the canal that flows through the site, the forest space as well as the lake.
